Relay For Life’ is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of the American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking or running laps. Luminary bags line the track and represent the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten and those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day, cancer will be eliminated.

This year a portion of the proceeds from The Glen's Mothers Day and Easter Brunches, as well as money collected for Department Penny Wars, and the sale of tickets to be “GM for a Day” were donated to the American Cancer Society.
