Community Involvement

At Virginia Crossings Resort, our giving nature doesn't stop with our guests. As a property under the management of Benchmark Hospitality, we're extremely proud to play an integral role in the betterment of our surrounding community. Through our involvement in Benchmark's Hometown Hospitality Caring For Our Communities program, we have assisted many notable local charities including the March of Dimes, the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society. It is no coincidence that the success of our property is indeed directly linked to the success of our surrounding community. Through Caring For Our Communities, we are able to walk hand in hand with those in our community. And with the efforts of this initiative-as a community, company, resort and individuals-we will all be better for it.

Virginia Crossings Resort is currently planning its First Annual Community Service Recognition Gala and has memorialized the event as the resort's Pillars of the Community Awards. The event will be held on-site and recognizes area businesses, organizations and individuals throughout the region that have made a difference in the area of community service and corporate citizenship. The event will be a fundraiser and will be supported by donations from area businesses. Recipients will receive coveted plaques inspired by the resort's stately pillars at the entrance of each building and, of course, emblematic of the strength and support provided by all those recognized.
